FormMy.LLC checks business name availability across all 50 states plus the District of Columbia. Searches hit live Secretary of State records every time, with no stale third-party aggregation in the middle.
The site is run by TrueScope LLC, a Missouri-based company that also operates LLCForge.com. Both sites exist for the same reason: state SOS portals are slow, ugly, and built for clerks rather than founders. We made better front doors.
When a name comes back available, the “Start filing” button moves you straight into formation with a trusted filing service. When a name is taken, you can refine and search again as many times as you want, free.
