What businesses call themselves

We publish what the public record shows about business naming. The source is the federal trademark register: 11.2 million marks filed between 1870 and 2024, counted decade by decade.

Every figure is reproducible from a public dataset, and each piece carries a method note saying how it was counted and where the counting stops. We report what businesses did name themselves. What you should call yours is not ours to say.
